For some pages throughout the website I have created a "Background" image based on a photograph just to add a little more interest to your visit.

FrontPage: Porsche 356 reflection.

	This is a genuine photo and not a digital creation. It was when I had my restoration business, and I had finished the restoration of a Porsche 356 B Roadster. The Convertible "D" (reg EAG..) was in for a routine service and as I walked past the Roadster I noticed the reflection of the Convertible "D" in the finished paintwork of the Roadster I had just finished restoring. I think it makes a good photo...

About: Napier Railton at Brooklands Museum.

	During one of my volunteer workdays at Brooklands Museum, the Napier Railton was out for a drive around the paddock area. I knew beforehand it would be out, so I was prepared with some Black and White film in my film camera, and I got some really good Black and White shots that I could make darkroom Silver Halide prints from. This is simply a scan of one of the prints, modified, to create the background image.

	When I first started out in business restoring Classic Cars, this Ferrari 250 SWB was one of the first cars to come through my doors. This photo was taken when the car was delivered back to the owner, in his driveway, just prior to the final refit. It made a great photo shot with the evening Sun glinting off the paintwork.
